The
National Obituary Archive
The National Obituary Archive was launched
in October 2000 by Continental Computer Corporation, maker of the
world's leading software for managing funerals and funeral homes.
Continental has repeatedly been named among the
top 500 software companies in the world. Building on Continental's
resources and industry relations, the National Obituary Archive,
originally known as Arrangeonline.com, quickly assembled the largest
collection of obituaries and death records in the world to serve
as the core of an online source for anyone seeking information about
the lives and deaths of friends or relatives.
Headquartered with Continental in Jonesboro, Arkansas,
NOA operates as a division of the software company, which develops
an array of products for the death-care industry, as well as for
municipal utilities and other targeted industries. Continental Computer
Corp. has raised nearly $16 million from private investors to fund
the launch and development of the National Obituary Archive
and related expansion of Continental.
